Six years ago today, I lost my mom. ❤️
It’s hard to put into words what my mom, Patricia, meant to me. She was my biggest cheerleader, my safe place, and somehow always had a way of making me feel like I was the most special person in the world.
She was also one tough lady.
She first battled cancer at just 30 years old and beat it. She spent more than 30 years teaching, loved being a grandma, loved her family fiercely, and had a whole lot of fun along the way.
And if you knew my mom, you knew about the Broncos. 🧡💙 Her and RJ’s first date was a Broncos game, and eventually they became season ticket holders. I have those tickets today, and every game I carry a little bit of her with me and I run up and down the stairs for every goal.
There are pieces of Mom here at LuLu’s, too. Her angels are here. Her baskets. Her plants. Her Our Dreams Give Us Wings sign.
And her Christmas tree. ❤️ During the last years of her life, my mom decided she wasn't taking her Christmas tree down anymore. So, when I opened LuLu’s, I brought her tree with me.
And I’ve never taken it down either.
I miss so many things about her, but more than anything, I miss her hugs. I miss how loved she made me feel. I miss being able to pick up the phone and hear her voice. I just miss my mom.
Six years feels like forever and yesterday all at once.
Love you and miss you, Mom. Always. ❤️

🤎 We’re growing our LuLu’s family!

There’s something pretty exciting about watching LuLu’s on Main come to life — and now we’re ready to find a few wonderful people to help us fill it with the warmth, personality and hospitality that make LuLu’s… well, LuLu’s. ❤️

We’re looking for Part-Time Boutique Sales Associates who genuinely enjoy people, love creating a welcoming shopping experience and are willing to jump in wherever they’re needed.

Retail experience is certainly a plus, but it isn’t everything. We care a whole lot about finding people who are dependable, friendly, self-motivated, comfortable working independently and excited to be part of what we’re building downtown.

If you love cute clothes, unique finds, local makers, rearranging a display until it looks just right 😉 and sending a customer out the door a little happier than when they walked in, you might fit right in around here.

These are part-time positions, typically around 10–15 hours per week, starting at $18/hour, with a mix of daytime, evening and weekend shifts available.

And because we know work and family life don’t always fit neatly into separate little boxes, LuLu’s on Main has a small children’s room in the back, and we’re open to discussing arrangements that may make bringing your kiddo to work possible when appropriate. ❤️

One of the things I love about carrying Genuine Ice Cream at LuLu’s Montana Market is knowing the people and the heart behind what we’re scooping.

So naturally, when I stopped by Genuine today, I had to try their 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 flavor.

You know… for research purposes. 😂

And OH MY GOODNESS. It was soooo good.

While I was there, I was reminded again why I love supporting Genuine. Ellie has created something that goes far beyond really great ice cream — Genuine continues to find ways to support Montana, our communities, and organizations doing meaningful work.
