This September presents three great opportunities to get involved and show up for public lands, healthy watersheds and public access.

On Tuesday, Sept. 8, we will be hosting a comment writing party at the shop with the Park County Environmental Council from 4-6 p.m. in support of the Roadless Rule.

On Saturday, Sept. 12, Montana Freshwater Partners is hosting their 5th annual Yellowstone River Cleanup. This is a great way to enjoy a fall float, make connections in the community, and give back to our beloved Yellowstone River.

On Thursday, Sept. 17, a Montana Stream Access Rally will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Emerson Center for Arts and Culture in Bozeman.

We love hearing about our team's adventures on their days off. Cameron Sestrich always has an adventure up his sleeve and spent some great days in the Beartooth Mountains this summer.

There is plenty of time left to explore before the snow flies, and September can provide some of the best hiking, biking and fishing of the year. Our staff is on hand to help you plan your next trip and get you the gear to get you out there!

We'll walk you through the comment process, share what the Roadless Rule means for Park County, and provide refreshments while you write.

🖐️ years of showing up for the Yellowstone and we’re ready to do it again! 💪

Join us on Saturday, September 12, for the 5th Annual Yellowstone River Cleanup. Volunteers can walk or float an assigned section of river, helping remove trash and care for the waterway that gives so much to our communities.

Bring your collected trash back to Sacajawea Park, then stick around for a community barbecue, raffle prizes and giveaways beginning at 3 PM.

And huge thanks to our sponsors and partners of this event - we couldn’t do it without you!
