A huge thank you Denison, J, Sam and Angus for all their hard work in this heat to do the reset and maintenance on Spirit House. Spirit House would not have survived another winter without this work. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped financially! I am deeply grateful!

Bring your cool rocks!

Bring your mystery rocks to the library for What Is This Rock? A Rockhounding Roadshow on Saturday, July 18, from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Members of the Bozeman Gem and Mineral Club will be on hand to help identify one or two of your rocks, minerals, or fossils. Along the way, they will share what your finds can reveal about Montana's geology and offer insight into the landscapes, formations, and natural history beneath our feet.

Whether you are an experienced rockhound, a curious collector, or someone who picked up an interesting rock on a hike, this drop-in program is a great opportunity to learn from local experts and discover the stories hidden in stone.
