Fox and Moon is a charming children’s board book written by Montana author and singer-songwriter Deb Halliday and beautifully illustrated by her daughter, Maesie Halliday.

SUNDAY LETTER PROJECT ✉️

What if you wrote a real letter every Sunday?

We’re excited to be part of the Sunday Letter Project, a lovely initiative of a stationery store near the Cotswolds encouraging people to slow down, put pen to paper, and make a little more room for meaningful correspondence.

Each week, the project offers a writing prompt — something like “Write a letter to someone you feel proud of.” You write. You mail it. You make someone’s day.

And if you’d like a pen pal, you can sign up at Wheatgrass Books. We’ll help pair you with another letter writer, and your letters can travel through the bookstore so that you never have to share your home address.

Our letter basket is growing, with new letters arriving every week! Come by to find a pen pal to write letters to, or stop in to learn more about the project.

Join us at Wheatgrass Books tomorrow, Friday, August 28, from 5–8 PM for the opening reception during the Livingston Art Walk.

IN THE WINGS celebrates the artistry that happens behind the scenes of theatre productions—from lighting, sound, costume and set design to scriptwriting and directing. It’s a look at the creative magic that makes what we see onstage possible.

We’re thrilled to have such strong representation from the Blue Slipper Theatre, including a special Costume Dress-Up Room, curated by Deb Kelly and featuring costumes generously loaned by the Blue Slipper. Come play dress-up, explore the exhibit, and celebrate the artists who make theatre happen—both onstage and behind the curtain. 🎭
