Early in our friendship, we both found out how much we loved New York City. We went in April 2001 with our husbands. We snapped pictures of our favorite places to eat, the Manhattan skyline from the Hudson River, and the FDNY in action. We promised we would come back one day to go to the top of the World Trade Center. On September 11, 2001, life in NYC changed forever. The skyline changed. The lives of these brave men of the FDNY in these photos changed. America changed. 🇺🇸
Today we honor the men and women who lost their lives twenty-five years ago on 9-11-01. We will NEVER FORGET.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, to our first responders. We will continually be grateful for the men and women who risk their lives in the call of duty to keep us all safe. 🙏
