Michigan Fine Yarns is a BIPOC family business located in Livonia, MI. We're a small team passionate about creating a warm and welcoming environment for all makers. We offer fine yarns in wool, silk, cashmere, Angora, alpaca, cotton, bamboo, linen, soy, recycled fibers, and more. 🎉 Join us as we participate in Berroco Yarn’s year-long Mystery Blanket Knit Along featuring versatile, worsted weight Vintage! This year’s theme is Cables!

Berroco has released the ninth pattern for their MKAL, and we love the combination of vertical and swooping cables! A new square will continue to be shared on the second Tuesday of each month this year. In total, we will knit twelve 16 x 16" squares while expanding our skills with cable textures! Seam your squares together, add a border, and reveal a beautiful blanket! Finished blankets shared on Ravelry by the end of 2026 will be entered to win a Year’s Worth of yarn from Berroco! 😲

Come shop our wide selection of Vintage for three of your favorite colors! Grab an AcademicHobbyist Palette tool to keep track of which color is which, and you’ll be all set. If you need some inspiration, we have color ideas on our blog!

You’ll receive personal guidance selecting your ideal size for the pattern, as well as assistance with choosing a yarn that will make your garment sing!
