Thursday, September 3, through Saturday, September 12, the UMCL Thrift Shoppe will be offering FREE clothing to everyone who visits during our regular business hours! Each family may fill one bag of clothing per day at no cost. As we prepare for our seasonal winter changeover, we'd love to give our community the opportunity to take advantage of this special offer! Our regular bag sale will also continue throughout the event, with bags starting at just $12.00! We look forward to welcoming you and helping you find some great treasures!

With rising costs affecting everyone, the UMCL Thrift Shoppe remains committed to providing affordable prices and great deals for our community and those in need. While we have worked hard to keep our prices as low as possible, increasing operating costs mean we need to make a small adjustment to our bag sale pricing. Beginning immediately, our bag sale will start at just $12 per bag. We are grateful for your understanding and continued support, which helps us carry out our mission. Dear valued customers and donors,

Thank you for your continued support of our Thrift Shoppe through your donations and purchases! Your generosity helps us support our church and various local organizations while allowing us to provide affordable items to our community, especially during difficult times!

Recently, we have received an increasing number of broken and dirty furniture donations, many of which are left outside after business hours. Because these items cannot be sold, they must be disposed of, creating unnecessary costs that reduce the funds available for the church and the organizations we support. We kindly ask that all furniture donations be clean, complete, and in usable condition. If you have a large donation or the donation bin is full, please bring your items during business hours or contact us to arrange a drop-off time. Additionally, this helps protect donations from weather damage and ensures they can be used.

Going forward, broken or dirty furniture left outside while we are closed without prior arrangements may result in law enforcement being contacted. We are proud to accept clean, functional donations and make every effort to ensure unsold items are passed on to other organizations rather than discarded. Only items that are broken, dirty, incomplete, or unusable are thrown away.

Thank you for helping us continue our mission by donating quality items that can truly benefit those in need. We appreciate your understanding and wish you a blessed and beautiful weekend.
