Hello, everyone!!! It has definitely been a minute since I have posted on here!
I'm still alive and, well, let's just be honest here...I'm "somewhat well".
I was in the hospital last week for a stomach issue that has been going on for well over a year now. On and off. I finally caved and sat my b***y down all alone in the ER. You have no idea, or well maybe you do! how much courage and strength it took to do that! I did, however, end up in a mess of tears near the end of the visit! Oh well. 😕 But when I was discharged....I was even more of a mess because they let me go without a diagnosis! I had an ultrasound done and blood work done and everything came up negative for anything.
They referred me to an IG specialist to book an appointment with and a family care physician who was located near my new place of residence! (That's right! We moved during a freaking pandemic!)😮
So I have to make those appointments and get an endoscopy done to find out what is causing all of the pain in my stomach. It literally feels like shattered glass is grinding in it!
But the pain has lost it's 8 rating and is down to a 4-5 now, thank God!!! So I thought I'd pop on here and catch y'all up to speed on the "what's been happening lately" in my life!
Anyway, does any of you remember this beanie I came up with, what was it....last year?
My "Soft and Sweet" velvet beanie pattern!!!
It is a fitted beanie that works up quick and has a slight brim worked in the round at the bottom! The whole peice is worked up to a long rectangle and then sewn up the side, slip stitched at the top and then pulled together to close it up!
Like, silly super easy!
This one in the photo was worked up using Bernat Velvet Crush in a dark grey and black. I thought the black pom pom that I found at Micheals was the perfect topper for it!
So.....yeah....😊....I hope you all have been well and safe through this pandemic! Please feel free to leave a comment below regarding just about anything...lol...because I have missed you all and I would absolutely love to hear from you!
Oh, and here's the link to the free beanie pattern! Take care!
