We are excited to announce that starting May 23 Fiddler’s Green will be open by appointment. We can hardly believe that we celebrated 18 years in business this year, and as a true Mom and Pop shop with no employees, we are so grateful for the support you have shown us through the shop’s transitions over the years. Although we’re moving away from holding regular business hours, we are still here! Packing and shipping orders, working on repairs, and bringing in new instruments daily. We can’t wait to meet with you and give you a personalized tour of the shop with a quiet listening room for trying out instruments, or simply for browsing! Our doors will also continue to be open every last Thursday of the month for a shop hang and bluegrass jam we call 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙥 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙥, and we invite you to come hang out, enjoy the music, pick a few, and check out what’s new at Fiddler’s Green.

We are so excited for the return of 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗣 𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣, a free bluegrass show at 𝗙𝗜𝗗𝗗𝗟𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗖 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 followed by a bluegrass jam and merriment for all! Starting this month we will be hosting this free event 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙏𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝! On February 26 we have a special treat for you: 𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗘! They were the first traditional bluegrass band Ben saw when he moved to Austin in 2008 and they’re still grassing yet!
