We would like to apologize to our Customers for the phone issues Fields Appliance Service has been experiencing. We hope AT&T has now fixed the issue. We discovered they had a damaged line and have repaired it temporarily with the intention of replacing the line soon.

WHIRLPOOL SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AWARD ARTICLE

OCC WINS NATIONAL AWARD

Wow! Just wow! We are so grateful to our OCC volunteer, Michelle Moss, and her employer, Fields Appliance Service in Orlando! She recently nominated OCC for national recognition through Whirlpool Corporation's Social Responsibility Award. After the Whirlpool corporate office narrowed it down to 3 nominees across the United States, OCC was then voted the WINNER by all attendees of the Whirlpool national conference. And the award was $7500!!

We are SO grateful for this recognition and gift! Thank you so much Michelle and The Fields family and Whirlpool Corporation! It amazes us how God uses our volunteers to bless OCC so richly. We are so humbled by their service and passion!

Fields Appliance Service sends our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family of Andrew Murray. Andrew, a technician for WFCC Guinco in Ft. Worth Texas, was tragically killed in an accident. Please read the message below and feel free to give personally to the gofundme account set up for his daughter. Our company has made a donation and we are passing this link on in order to give our Employees and Customers an opportunity to help this Family in their time of need.

"The entire Guinco family is absolutely devastated by the tragic passing of our friend and coworker, Andrew. We are deeply saddened for his wife, Sommer, his mother, Cindy, his 4-year old daughter, Tatum, and the rest of his loving family.
As of now, there are more questions than answers, and we are working exhaustively to assist investigators. Although Andrew had been with us for just over 2 years, he had completed several hundred hours of classroom and on-the-job training, he had multiple industry certifications along with extensive new product training required here at Guinco. Andrew met our highest standards for quality, safety and consistency.
Andrew brought joy to everyone who met him, and his wonderful, outgoing personality was always on display. He was dependably available for anyone who ever needed him, at work and away from it. We regularly received high praise from those customers who had the opportunity to meet him.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

2/3 CUP SHORTENING (PART BUTTER)
1/2 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR (PACKED)
1 EGG
1 TSP. VANILLA
1 & 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
1/2 TSP. BAKING SODA
1/4 TSP. SALT
6 OZ. SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS

PREHEAT OVEN TO 375*
MIX SHORTENING, SUGARS, EGG & VANILLA THOROUGHLY. IN A SEPARATE BOWL MIX FLOUR, BAKING SODA & SALT TOGETHER. SLOWLY ADD DRY MIXTURE TO WET MIXTURE. FOLD IN CHOCOLATE CHIPS. DROP ROUND SPOONFULS ON COOKIE SHEET LINED WITH PARCHMENT PAPER. BAKE 10-13 MINUTES.
