I finished a viola October, 2018 that I had started in 2013. Yep, 5 years to finish that instrument.
The varnish job was sub-par, so I stripped it last week and am now in the process of re-varnishing it.
Check out the pictures of the stripped viola with a new ground coat. I'll get started with the varnishing real soon.

Oh My Goodness!!!! Has it really been that long! Time flies. Well this instrument is almost done. I know, you are saying - you should have been done back in January. Well, I've been busy with other things. Of which one is we are renovating a house and will be moving in later this year. It is about 1/2 mile from our current location. SO, I will put up a picture or two.
