Threw, stamped, carved, and handled these stoneware mugs and pitchers yesterday. Sooo nice to work in the nice weather and have my hands in clay again!!! These will have some pretty new glazes on them, ready for Windsor Village Shops in Sept🤞

It was so nice to see familiar faces yesterday!! Thank you!!! It means so much to me that you come!
I'll be showing again today at the Niagara Art Trail "Spring into Summer" Market. I'm in the 4H bldg.
Its endearing when someone sees something you made and you each share your individual memories and you make a connection🩷💚💛 Many conversations about walks in the woods and foraging and heirlooms made by grandparents🩷🩵🩶

So after such a great response to our monthly events we decides to carry on the monthly "social" so while I transition our events keep this in mind for May. Our socials have developed into a day of crafts, games and we are introducing more NA options for our beverages. A fun way to meet new neighbors.

Patterns in black and blue- some new, some older.
Made about 12-18 new glazes this week, understatement to say I'm eager to try them out! Bisque kiln tomorrow, hopefully- have to fire some more test tiles, then another round of glaze tests, then I can decide which glazes for each new pot. Lots of pretty textures and some bugs and other flora and fauna on the way 💚 Summer work started and ending with studio cleaning- trying to make it better organized and easier to manage for the school year
