Here we go.. this post is about the people who ruin it for everyone else.
For 8 years we have run the sweeper with no fights, no bu****it. An occasional argument, which is normal when ppl are competing. Nothing bad. Just normal s**t. Well I have to say this has been with out a doubt, the worst year for the sweeper when it comes to certain peoples attitudes.
I have people who tell me "Please! Do not put me on that guys pair or this guys pair otherwise I won’t bowl anymore!" I have had numerous talks with these same people, in private, about how this can no longer happen. I tried handling it the right way, I tried to be respectful.
Well, that’s about to change. And you know who you are! Listen up real quick, this is the last warning. If you cause a scene at my tournament again I will just bounce you out the door head 1st. There will be no breaking it up I will literally grab you, who ever you are and toss you out in the parking lot!
This is ridiculous. All summer long I’ve had to hear about not posting the flyer on a certain day is the reason why numbers have been down. Nope. Numbers are down cuz people literally do not want to show up and deal with this BS. Grow up. If you cannot handle trash talking, or take it too far then don’t effing do it. If you physically put your hands on someone you will have to deal with me and you will go out the front door head 1st! Old school style like in the movie Casino! Havnt seen it i suggest you watch it, just so you know what will happen if you pull this crap at my sweeper again.
1- there are kids at this thing, kids that come with their parents! Grow up.
2- Me and Tim have been running this sweeper so yall have something to bowl every week for 8 years and let me tell you the 20 bucks we make in bracket money is nothing! We do it so bowling lives on! Tournament bowling lives on!
3- we have had 8 year olds bowl, all the way up to 90 year olds bowl. This is supposed to be a safe place for all ages to come out and compete.
It’s a $40 handicap sweeper, get a grip! This is the last and final warning. I’m ashamed I even have to make this post. And for all you idiots, would you ever pull this stuff is Brad A was there? No you never do you only pull this s**t when Brad is out of town or not at the center. Wanna know why? cuz y'all respect Brad. So what I see is a complete lack of respect not only to me to Tim, the bartender the front counter ppl the other bowlers! Better learn some respect quick or you're not welcome. I don’t want weird people
Coming in, causing fights, while bowling is coming on.
I could care less what anyone does with their life outside of the BAL but once you step thru those damn doors you leave all your personal BS out of the bowling alley and act like you would want to be treated.
For everyone else who still shows up week in, week out, and puts up with this child like behavior, thank you. I promise everyone for next year, rules will be in place and a zero tolerance policy applied. No more! I see a fight again, or people kicking chairs and equipment, getting in peoples personal space , outside shady entities coming into the bowling center and causing a ruckus etc. you will be escorted out Casino style. And never allowed again to compete in any of my tournaments not just the sweepers! Grow up people!
