Two and a half days! This was quite the project. I love the outcome. As always, I had lots of help from the cats. They loved the ladder and the laser level. And, nope, I am not for hire!

Say a little prayer for me! I’m about to start clearing this bathroom for wallpaper. Thankfully, ChatGPT is a whiz at the measurements! It’s not my first wallpaper project so hopefully my experience will help too. I also prefer working solo. I’ve done a whole bathroom by myself before and this is just a half bath so I’m feeling confident. (Knocked on wood!)

Glass pumpkin time! I did get a little smarter this year and carried these down from our garage apartment in a big IKEA bag so I didn’t have to make 1 million trips. The trips I did make definitely helped with my step count today though. Now to find them all homes for the next month and a half. Stay tuned.

It’s not spooky season until the dolls and doll parts come out!

Sweating putting out Halloween is annoying! I usually wait until October 1st but I had time on my hands this afternoon. As with all things, it’s never as quick as you hope it will be. I ended up having to replace the light kits on two of these. Luckily, I keep a stash of kits for blow molds for just such an event. Maybe I’ll remember to get a picture of them glowing sometime between now and Halloween.

So before pictures would’ve been good, but I never think about that. I have been obsessed the past few days with rearranging every surface because I bought one new thing! And, that one new thing is not placed yet! Chat has been a great decorator. I cleared off surfaces then asked for ideas. Once it gave me some ideas, I used what I had to try to re-create it and then we went from there, taking pictures of accessories I had and tweaking placements along the way. It has been fun.

I have been collecting mini frames for a while with this project in mind. I love the look of Museum Bees, but not the price. I realize my frames aren’t quite so fancy, but I love how these turned out. When this Iron Orchid Designs mold came out, I thought that was the perfect use for it. It was also a perfect way to use up bits of leftover transfers. Most of these bugs are available in my booth Forsyth Antiques & More
