We here at the Lucky Duck are always happy to get your donations. All we ask is that it is nice useable stuff and it’s brought when we are open so we can deal with it asap.
This is what we came in to this morning…this is absolutely unacceptable. We have a sign that says don’t do that. The 3 men that dropped this stuff off seen the sign and “oh well they aren’t open” and the 3 of them proceeded to drop off a trailer full of wet boxes and stuff.
Again…we are thankful for the donations but now we have to either stay back there and go through everything or drag it to the front into the store. The space it was dropped of is NOT a drop off…it is where we put the stuff we have already gone through and are sending off to St Vinny’s!
We would have been very happy to get this load because some of it looks very nice but dropping it off like this when we’re not here with storms forecasted. In cases like that…it ends up going the other direction into the dumpster that we have to pay to get rid of. It totally defeats the purpose of a non profit store.
Please bring your stuff just be respectful and do it when we are here. Thank you from the Lucky Duck!

Make sure to stop at Lucky Duck Resale on Saturday for snow cones, cotton candy and Susies Sweets and Frozen Treats.

We have kids games and sand art.

We also have added a new sports room you definitely need to check out.

Adult Clothing sale going on as well.

Lucky Duck will be closed today (Saturday August 1st)
We have been combining my brothers sports store into ours and theres no way for us to open with the rain. The store is loaded with stuff we can’t even get in the door without moving things outside. Sorry for the inconvenience

We ended up donating $ to Latoya’s Legacy Sanctuary
We also donated other items on a regular basis

They took in 3 cats that needed emergency vet care which obviously is very expensive.

Will be opening at 12 today (Monday) after the rain is done. We have to much that we take outside to try to find spots for inside when it rains.
