Thank you for a great first day at Michiana Ren Fest!! Looking forward to tomorrow, even though some of my favorite pieces have sold already😩 it’s such a complicated feeling, wanting items to sell but being sad when they go. Part of the deal I suppose!

Maybe one day we’ll get better at posting regularly, but for the moment we’re busy getting ready for Michiana Ren Fest this weekend August 29th and 30th at the St Joseph County Fairgounds!

I dont know what else to say but WOW, what a weekend! Huge thank you to Kat and everyone on The Great Camelot Renaissance Faire’s team for putting together such a seamless, incredibly enjoyable event! Hopefully it’s back in our area next year and we can join again.

There’s nothing quite like making so many new connections with fellow vendors and the many patrons that come to the faires. It feels so special to be a part of someone’s first Ren Faire experience and be able to give them a trinket or have them buy a keepsake to remember it by. It’s easy to disassociate from what someone making a purchase from you means, that something you made spoke to them enough that they would pay you to have it. I have so many items that I acquired at events in the last few years that I look upon fondly, some vendors that I make a point to purchase from every year and build a collection. It’s surreal to actually sit and think about the fact that we have the honor of being those people now.

Weekends like this cement the idea that ‘hey, this is something we might really be good at’ and it’s not something we try for a little while and it fizzles out. The reception we receive from fellow vendors and patrons is the best motivation.

We are so excited to announce our official list of vendors for the Great Camelot Renaissance Faire for our Logansport, IN location! (Some vendors may be sprinkled in later)

Our lovely Vendor Coordinator produced a very organized list sorted by product type so you can check out all the sorts of things you can find at our faire!

I think we have officially filled up our summer and early fall with the events we will be at! Here is what we are currently planning on attending:
July 21st- StoryPoint Granger Farmers Market 9a-1p
August 8th-9th- Great Camelot Renaissance Faire- Peru, IN
August 29th-30th- Michiana Renaissance Faire- South Bend, IN
September 26th-27th- Royal Stagg Pirates and Witches Weekend- Marshall, MI
October 10th-11th- Great Raven Renaissance Festival- Galesburg, MI
October 17th-18th- MacDudley's Mystic Market- Kalamazoo, MI

Everything we have attended so far has been a blast, I can't wait for the rest of this year to come!! Especially for the local events we hope to see some familiar faces!
