Back at it today to try and get ahead on candle making, as festival season is currently kicking my butt a little. 5 weekends in a row is a lot but we’re halfway through!

In order to make it big, you have to think big, and I have spent 8 years proving that to myself one pour at a time. This little candle company started on a kitchen counter and now ships to over 80 stores nationwide, and I still have to remind myself sometimes that that is not a small thing. I can get a little lost in the tiredness of it all, but really I am truly proud of this dream of mine. And I’m not stopping any time soon. 🤍✨

Restocked the shop just in time for this amazing fall weather!

Nothing like lighting a candle and letting the whole house smell like fall. We just fully restocked so come smell for yourself! We’re open 12-6 pm today even during the Chicken Festival! Spiced Orange is the scent I reach for when I want fall to feel a little bright instead of heavy, like the season is just getting started and there is still some warmth left in it. The clove keeps it grounded but the orange is what you smell first and it is very much a whole mood. Today’s weather was the literal perfect day for it too!

A little birdie told me Dirty South Pottery was dropping all their Autumn Collection today! I’m obsessed with their haunted mugs! And they might have a fall candle or two from yours truly if you visit their store in Wi******er! Seriously it’s worth the trip to see their store if you’re ever close!

Nobody tells you that fall starts in August when you make candles, and honestly, every year it catches me a little off guard anyway. One day I’m pouring summer scents and the next I’m elbow deep in warm c***r and pumpkin creme even though it’s 95+ degrees outside. August was a lot, September has been a doozy.

Went to post my August recap and realized I was so all over the place in August that I didn’t post my July recap yet! If I knew then what I know now, I would’ve been working much harder in July to make more back stock to get ahead. You’d think I’d learn every year, but it’s yet to happen. Anyways stay tuned for all things fall from this point forward!

I know it’s 90 million degrees outside, but Evans Orchard and C***r Mill had me feeling all the fall vibes when I dropped off their order last week, and I left with 3 bags of apples too, so my mom is making apple butter to get us through the rest of the year. ✨
