Hey Laurel County! Just a heads up that there will be NO Farmers Market this Saturday due to the World Chicken Festival this weekend. Our vendors are taking a well deserved break and we hope you enjoy every single minute of the festivities!

We will be back in full force on Saturday, October 3rd and we cannot wait to see you. Until then, have a safe and wonderful weekend at the World Chicken Festival! We will see you soon!

🐔🚨 THE CHICKENS HAVE TAKEN OVER LONDON!! 🚨🐔

Yep… Chicken Fest has officially invaded town, so we’ve decided there’s only one thing left to do — surrender and take the weekend off from the London Laurel County Farmers Market! 🤣🤣

And I’m not gonna lie… this ole gal is pretty excited about sleeping in on a Saturday morning! 🙌😂 That doesn’t happen very often during market season!

We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Spend a little time with your family, enjoy this beautiful weather, slow down for a minute, and make some memories. Those are the things that matter most. 🥰

And if you’re heading out to Chicken Fest, have fun, eat something good, and enjoy all the festivities! 🐔

🚨 Well, y’all… it finally happened! 😂

For the FIRST TIME IN THREE YEARS, I don’t have a single new crochet creation to reveal for the market tomorrow! 😱🧶

Between Momma and me, we had doctor appointments every single day this week except today. By the time I got home from all that running, this ole gal basically crashed! 😂 And today was spent with family having a little birthday get-together, so needless to say…

NO CROCHET HAPPENED THIS WEEK! 🤷‍♀️🤣

But don’t worry — I WILL BE AT THE MARKET TOMORROW! 🙌

And technically, I still have some goodies left from Corbin Con and the Kentucky Food Truck Championship that haven’t made their Farmers Market debut yet… so they’ll be NEW TO THE MARKET! 😉 I’m counting it! 😂

So come on out tomorrow and see what I’ve got left! You might just find something you haven’t seen in my booth before. ❤️

Hopefully next week life settles down a little and I can get back to some quality crochet time because after an entire week without picking up my hook, I’m starting to have withdrawals! 🧶🤣

🚗 WELL… THE CAR IS FINALLY LOADED!! 🙌😂

And when I say loaded, I mean I don’t think there’s a spare inch left in that thing! If I forgot something at this point, we’re just gonna have to live without it. 🤷‍♀️🤣

Of course, MY vehicle is still at the garage, and the loaner they gave me wouldn’t hold half of my stuff…so Momma’s car has officially been volunteered for vendor duty tomorrow! 😂 Between moving everything from one vehicle to another this week, I don’t know whether I’m coming or going anymore!

And because apparently I have my life completely together… 🤦‍♀️ I loaded up some of my NEW products without taking pictures first!

Am I unloading that crammed-full car tonight to get them out?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. 😂 It’s hot, I’m tired, and y’all are just gonna have to use your imaginations!

I’m posting the pattern photo of the Wizard Trio so you can see what I made. That particular photo is NOT my work—it belongs to the pattern designer and I’m only sharing it as a reference. I’ll try to remember to snap a picture of mine tomorrow once I get everything set up!

I did manage to get a few new goodies made this week, including:

🐸 Adjustable frog rings
🧶 Hair scrunchies
🪄 The Wizard Trio!

I’ve also got ONE MORE SURPRISE that I haven’t shown y’all yet…but guess where it is?

Yep. PACKED IN THE CAR. 🤪😂

So that reveal will have to wait until tomorrow!

There just weren’t enough hours in the day this week, and this ole gal was POOPED most of it, so I didn’t get nearly as much new stuff made as I had planned. But don’t worry—I’m bringing a booth FULL of all kinds of goodies!

Now we just need everybody to cross their fingers that the rain holds off tomorrow because it’s time for one of my absolute FAVORITE events of the year…

The menus for the Kentucky Food Truck Championship are OUT, which means it’s time to start planning your food strategy!! 😂🌮🍔🍗🍤

I’m dropping the link below so y’all can peruse ALL the menus and start making your must-try list. And trust me… you’re gonna want to come prepared because there are WAY too many good choices! 🤤

Sis and I have already been doing our research, and our list is getting RIDICULOUS. 😂 We may need a spreadsheet… or a second stomach!

Here are a few of our MUST-HAVES so far:

🔥 305 Cubano — former championship winner and an absolute MUST for me! Their Cubano Sandwich + Tostones = I’m not even pretending I have self-control. 🤤

🔥 Louisiana Passions — We tried their Mardi Gras jambalaya with shrimp étouffée last year and FELL IN LOVE. Y’all… we literally grieved the following week because we didn’t get more to bring home with us. 😂😭 This year, we know better!

🔥 Ceci’s Grillhouse — Those Picanha Skewers are calling my name! 👀🤤
