Sometimes things just line up. 🌝 Yes, I did Reiki training years ago but time away has made it feel difficult to reconnect. When I saw Amanda (Komisarek) Stanley was hosting another Reiki training, the time felt right and I jumped in. I’m not starting over; I’m picking up where I left off. I’ve been intentionally working my way back to my practices over the past month and while there are miles to go, I finally feel like I’m driving the car again. 🍁

One of the more difficult lessons Autumn teaches us is that sometimes we have to cut off last seasons growth to be even more abundant in the season to come.

The branches of this tree were so heavy with new growth and fruit that they were bending, touching the ground, and starting to split. To trim it back was to save it.
• • •
Before the first snip we talked to the tree and let her know what we were doing any why. The magick came when our hearts broke looking at the pile of debris but the energy of the tree was more vibrant than ever. Happy, light, appreciative. Yes, this tree worked hard to put out new branches and fruit and while we trimmed them back, the strength gained in her roots remained. 🍎

3 weeks in a row. ✨ After years away from my altar, I have intentionally come back for the last 3 Sundays in a row. ✨ Why Sunday? This was always my way to get back to baseline before a new week began. Some quiet moments, a tarot pull, holding crystals and moving pieces around the space. Calm, slow, no agenda. ✨ It’s been almost exactly 1 year since life exploded/imploded and the rollercoaster has been indescribable. My FTJ took over my life, punished my wellbeing, and chipped away at my health. It’s been awful and yet, it’s not quite over; however, I decided I could not wait any longer to come back to myself. ✨ There’s no perfect moment, no ideal conditions, no fresh start or blank page unless we make it so. Decide it is so. ✨

I’m excited today to ‘open’ the new Dollar Apothecary ! 🌟 Why offer $1 apothecary and ritual items? Because everything else is expensive and I am able to. 💁‍♀️
• • •
Okay, so not a new store, but a new section in the shop offering a variety of ritual items all for only $1 each. And as a bonus, all orders $25+ ship for free. 📬
• • •
I love a good deal or a hot find but I know what it’s like to feel like you don’t have the tools you need for your ritual (especially if you need 1 of something only offered in bulk). Let’s fix that!🕯️
• • •
The more support there is for the $1 Apothecary, the more items I’ll be able to offer. Every purchase opens another door and makes more items available. It has always been vital to me that rituals be fun and easy to engage with; what better way to honor that than to make the tools and supples budget friendly for all. ❤️

As a thank you for your support of the $1 Apothecary, all PDF guidebooks are just $1 for a week only! 📲
(no coupon code needed, sale ends 9/7)

Back to work tomorrow after vacation got me like: 😬

Instead of feeling all the anxiety feels, I decided to consult my tarot deck. A little insight and honest reflection always helps to reframe what’s going on and step forward on solid footing. Let’s just hope this week can stay calm and balanced in the face of change.

I can’t tell you the last time this window was open. 🪟 It’s been closed, locked, and covered with curtains to keep the Winter cold and Summer heat both out as much as possible. I realized today my apothecary hasn’t had a breath of fresh air, and she needed it.
• • •
Curtains pulled to the side, unlocked, and opened. I cleaned the sill and opened the screen to let loose accumulated dust, dirt, and debris. With incense lit, it was time to tidy and move some energy.

This space became overwhelming a few years ago. I don’t spend as much time in here as I have in the past and that saddens me. Today was ripe for digging in and reconnecting. Sitting at my altar for the first time in over a year felt like seeing an old friend. Yes, a little awkward at first but we fell right in to our comfort together quickly. After dusting off some crystals and a quick tarot pull, I laid back on the floor to soak it all in.

A gentle breeze, incense lightly dancing, the sound of birds chatting and trees swaying. A beautiful moment.

Had a Dragonfly visitor on our front door while making dinner. Taking perch on a physical threshold has me wondering if it senses a change afoot. What does Dragonfly mean to you?
