Truly unrivaled work besties. We’ve never seen anything like it. I think we would all cry tears of joy if these two, Murphy & Peanut, somehow ended up going home together. 🥹🧡 TippedEars

They are ALWAYS cuddling, grooming each other, following each other around or exploring together. Murphy & Peanut are unrelated. They met at the store and something just immediately clicked.

Comics are a storytelling medium, not a genre. They don’t have to have jokes or superheroes — comics can be about anything!

These 3 prints from Los Angeles illustrator & animator Julianna Romero (melonandcompany) don’t have punchlines. Instead, these personal comics work like little windows into the small moments shared between a cat & their human. The watercolor splashed panels and handwritten narration is sincere, introspective and genuinely sweet.

Julianna’s art serves as a bright, beautiful antidote to the oft dark and overwhelming media that bombards our feeds — a powerful reminder to appreciate what you have (especially the cats!).

✨To celebrate cats and comics, meet 4 amazing, lesser known (at least in the US) cat comic book characters. ✨

While I was familiar with Doraemon, who is an enormous icon in Japan, I had zero familiarity with the other 3 until I did this deep dive — and now I’m obsessed!
