Our next art show is POKECATS! A new spin on our annual holiday fundraiser show.

⭐️ This is an OPEN CALL art show. Anyone can submit.
⭐️ Pick a cat from a rescue in LA or Orange County and create a trading card style portrait of them! Example in second slide.
⭐️ The format of the card is totally up to you, but it must include the following basic info: cat name, s*x, age, rescue name, and rescue location.
⭐️ Final product must be on a 4x6” piece of medium weight paper (similar to an actual trading card or postcard).
⭐️ The medium: digitally drawn and printed or hand drawn, painted, or any other sort of 2D illustration.
⭐️ Absolutely no A.I.
⭐️ This is a fundraiser: 100% of every sale is donated to each cats’ rescue.

SHOW OPENS: 11.27

There will be a Google Form to submit, which we will pin to our stories. The art must be physically delivered or mailed and received by Sunday, November 22nd.

We just got a bunch of one of a kind handmade earrings by the incredibly talented Bunny Dee! 😻

Normally you can only get these directly from her at CatCon and other makers markets, but we managed to get some just for Cool Cat!

Each pair of earrings is unique and lovingly handmade with clay, paint, gems, charms, etc. with sterling silver posts. These earrings are seriously gorgeous, don’t miss your chance to snag one in store or online now!

The amount of generative AI we encounter on a daily basis is overwhelming. It’s everywhere and it sucks. 🚫💀

If you’re a cat brand or rescue and see this, please stop putting AI cats in your product photos and on your fliers. 🚫 Real cats are extremely plentiful 😸😸😸 (overpopulation crisis and all)! 😅 When cat professionals and/or experts need fake cats for their media it looks terrible and is confusing. 😬

We’ve got some new fun Halloween hats and collars by Cheer Hunting to get your furry baby in the spirit. That is, if they tolerate it 😹 Colby and Lemmy were the only ones we could really dress up, Hazel wore her collar but she does not like to sit still for photos 😹

New print alert ‼️

We originally made this design as a fundraiser tee for our rescue partner, TippedEars, but we brought it back as a riso print to help raise more funds for the their important rescue work!

TippedEars has taken on a lot of injured and sick kitties lately, and they need help from the community to donate and foster if they can. Fostering saves lives, and donating does too! Even just sharing helps.

You can now get this online and in store, and $5 from every Fixed Cats Fix Hearts print (and shirt!) will go directly to TippedEars to help them continue their life saving work 💜

We collaborated with Calvin of bodybag collective to make a small batch of fully custom totes! Calvin makes each one of these by hand in nearby Costa Mesa. Our TippedEars foster Squanchy and shop foster Lemmy fully approve!*

From Calvin: “an everyday over-the-shoulder bag for the on the go essentials. hand-stitched from durable 10 oz cotton canvas with exterior pockets on front and back, reinforced 1 inch wide straps, and a 28 inch strap. lined with 7 oz cotton canvas.”

14.5 in tall x 18.5 in wide. pre washed, pre shrunk. Features a screen printed Cool Cat logo patch of on one side and a Bodybag Collective patch on the other.
