The biggest tip I’ve found for getting out of a creative rut is to just make something silly with no intention of selling it. Seriously, try it. Make something that makes you laugh. That brings you joy. Make something for yourself! Even better yet, make something for Bernie!

Bernie and I had a really nice little mother/son day out in Pasadena. We got for National Donut Day, and then the TASTIEST breakfast burritos from Lucky Boy. It was such a lovely treat after Bernie’s OBGYN appointment. The doctor gave Bernie his own pad and taught him about IUD’s and menopause. They also said his bo***es are in the clear (since he doesn’t have any) but that it’s good he came in.

Many of the vendors in the tiki community know Sara as she is a vendor herself. I wanted to reach out and ask if anyone wants to participate in some type of online auction or maybe an in person event? I’m not totally sure. Some type of raffle?

All proceeds would go towards Sara’s GoFundMe.

If you have advice on good ideas for doing these kinds of things, as I’ve never done one, I’d love tips!

I am so excited to vend this new opportunity at next Saturday, June 13th from 12-5. It is free AND all ages. I am so excited to be vending alongside a couple of artists that I really enjoy. In particular, I haven’t vended with since Shipwrecked and he is one of my favorite mug makers. I will be there with my fun batty vibes, and I hope to see you there too 💜🖤 so excited to meet so many new vendors!

The Bamboo Club has amazing food at a great price point and really tasty mocktails. Their strawberry mocktail (which I forget the name of literally every single time I order it…. I’m so sorry guys) is super tasty.
