Ever have that one vintage piece you secretly hoped would stay in the shop forever?

You know the one. The piece you dust a little extra, walk past three times a day, and occasionally tell customers, "Isn't this amazing?" while quietly hoping they don't buy it. 😂

Then one day, it sells.

My heart: 💔

My face: 😃 "Congratulations! Great find!"

The truth is, every vintage piece has a story, and while it's a little sad to see my favorites leave Owl Be Vintage, it's also the best part of what I do. Knowing that special piece is heading to a new home where it will be loved, admired, and enjoyed all over again makes it worth it.

So if you've ever bought one of my favorite treasures, just know I'm happy for you... and maybe just a tiny bit jealous. 😉

Ever notice how some husbands say they're "just going to check out an estate sale" and then come home with a truck full of treasures? 😂

My husband went "estate sale shopping" today, and let's just say I wasn't prepared for what came through the door! Apparently, vintage hunting isn't just a women's hobby anymore.

While some guys are out golfing or watching football, mine is out negotiating over old tools, rusty signs, antique furniture, and mysterious treasures he absolutely "couldn't leave behind."

I used to think I was the vintage addict in the family. Now I'm starting to wonder if he's secretly competing with me. 🤔

Who else has a husband, boyfriend, dad, or grandpa who claims they're "just looking" and somehow comes home with another vintage treasure?
