We hope this finds you well today! Another great week for Team Storyboard, feeling incredibly blessed, as we head into the weekend. 🥳

We have our GFV chocolate baked doughnuts 🍩 and today offering plain, dusted, almond, and ganache. *They do contain almond milk and coconut sugar. And I baked 3x as many since we keep selling out! 😅

Working on croissant turns and shaping today for tomorrow morning. 🥐 Classic & chocolate!!

💃🏻 No swing dance tomorrow because our instructor will be at a wedding. Sorry. Next dance is Friday night the 25th at 7pm in the Merk common area. $5

You’ve probably seen our notifications 📣 in stories all week on this, but just in case you haven’t. We’re here until 12:00pm today, and then off to a wedding! 💖 We would love to have stayed open for our regular hours, but everyone that could have worked will be at the wedding. 😂

A quick shout out to United Way Of Cowlitz County community volunteers for all your hard work helping clean up our downtown here in Longview!! These are just a few of the crews out on Wednesday pulling weeds and beautifying Commerce. Not sure everywhere else you worked around here, but we sure appreciate your help in pulling weeds out front of our cafe!! 🙏🏼 Thank you for serving our community. 💞

Today’s sandwich special is a Kalama roasted garlic and rosemary sourdough Kalama Sourdough Bakery
(didn’t get to making my bread), with smoked turkey, havarti, cucumber, and mixed greens. Served with a side of French tomatillo salad using local produce from Watershed Garden Works


We have our GF-V chocolate baked doughnuts, flourless espresso milk chocolate torte, wild orange meringues, French almond pastry, palmier, Merk muffin, sour cream coffee cake, derry berry, savory, Hilder’s Goop, croissant and Dutch crunch bread pudding, cookies, candy, chocolates………and an espresso milk chocolate French custard!! 🍮

I have been a little behind posting, but keeping up with stories, so keep an eye on those daily.

I have SO much to update you all on and this wild summer. It has been a season, but don’t worry all is well. ☝🏻

Today’s Friday sandwich special is a croissant BLT with Hempler’s SF bacon, local produce, and a balsamic glaze drizzle. In house and freshly baked croissants. 🥐

Gluten free vegan chocolate baked doughnuts, French almond pastry, savory and more!

Tonight our awesome swing dance instructor is hosting his monthly social dance, lesson included, in The Merk common area at 7pm. I will be staying open late for the dance. 💃🏻

Bonjour!!!

Happy Friday!! We hope this finds you well today. ☀️

It has been a wonderfully busy week around here, so busy I have barely been posting updates, besides in stories. 😅 I have added classic French sandwiches to the menu on Fridays for a special and it has been a great addition. Today’s sandwich is a “Jambon-Beurre”, smoked ham with an herbed French butter, dressed with delicious Gruyère cheese, on a freshly baked Dutch crunch baguette. 🥖 If I must say so myself it’s quite scrumptious! 😋
And drumroll please…………the beloved Pâte en Croûte is back!!! This one is a pork sausage blend with pistachios, onion, layers of fresh figs, blackberries, feta, spices…….a few secret ingredients too! ☺️ Served slanted on mixed greens, Dijon, and pickled asparagus.
You won’t find this specialty classic French charcuterie anywhere else nearby. #
Savory pastries and this week’s French custard is a white chocolate toasted almond. 👩🏻‍🍳

Cold drink options are Italian sodas, iced coffees, our freshly juiced watermelon lemonade, Brooklyn egg creams made with our bean-to-bar chocolate ganache, iced teas, sparkling water, Lotus sodas, Butterbeer, Poppi sodas, kombucha, Ollipops, Pellegrino, pressed juices, cold milk, and coconut water. 💧 🧋🧃🍶🥥
