I snapped this photo from my office window in downtown Longview the other day. A rainbow has long been seen as a sign of new beginnings, and this one felt especially fitting for the season.
Today marks the beginning of Medicare Annual Enrollment.
From October 15 through December 7, people with Medicare can review their health and prescription drug coverage for 2027 and may be able to make changes. Changes made during this period generally take effect January 1.
This does not mean everyone needs to change plans. It simply means it is worth taking a little time to review your Annual Notice of Change, prescriptions, doctors, hospitals, and pharmacy before deciding whether your current coverage still fits your life.
If you would like to sit down and talk through the questions, I am here to help. Every person’s needs are different, and I believe these decisions deserve time, care, and a conversation with someone you trust.
