Friends! We are so excited to share our Fall Soul Tending gathering with you! Shannon and I are really excited to bring this one to our community.

It’s been a while since she and I have gotten to collaborate on something together and it feels wonderful to join forces and gather with you all in our first offering in the new space. We are both really excited to gather with you all.

So many of us have experienced our own difficult ebbs and flows this year and fall is always an invitation to begin gathering ourselves back inward to slow down and rest. To tend what needs tending. To take stock of what we have, what we need, and what we want to carry with us into the darker months.

So we hope you’ll join us for:

THE HEARTH FIRE BREW
Ritual, Remedy, and the Fire C***r Tradition

A fall soul-tending gathering centered around plants, folk herbalism, ritual and making medicine together.

We’ll weave in a little ceremony, herbal knowledge, hands-on making and plenty of room for conversation and story.

Come get your hands into the plants. Learn about the herbs and roots we’re working with. Hear some stories. Share some stories. And make your own Fire C***r to take home, tend, use and eventually share or make with your loved ones if you choose.

Because the medicine is often more than what’s inside the jar.

Sometimes it’s gathering around a table.
Sometimes it’s working with our hands.
Sometimes it’s learning something we can carry forward.
Sometimes it’s tending ourselves while making something that will tend us later.

I found this concretion on my girls trip up north and it has quickly become one of the most special found treasures. A reminder and talisman for this eclipse season and last few months.

Cycles and circles, circles and cycles.

Leo season opened with a bang. So much fire with the solar eclipse. Creativity, heart opening, illumination, a sense of knowing and seeing things through new eyes. Then closing it out with this very watery Pisces blood moon lunar eclipse. Emotion, heavy dreams, things coming up from the deep. Things we could finally see needed to be released. A different kind of knowing and clarity, the kind we feel in our core.

And I know for a lot of us, myself included, it was tumultuous to say the least, but I think that’s also part of the reminder.

Everything moves in cycles and we are part of that. We aren’t separate from it. There is always a beginning and an ending. Ebbing and flowing in its own way. Something becoming and something dying back until it repeats again.
Then and during there’s everything that happens/is happening inside the circle.

The noticing. The feeling. The sitting with. The integration.

That messy middle where I think so much of the actual growth happens.

We don’t move into another eclipse season until February, which gives plenty of time to actually sit with what came up and integrate it into our lives and being.

For me, that’s meant going inward. A lot of inner work and shadow work. Paying attention to what keeps coming up, what feels different, what I’m ready to stop carrying, and letting some things take the time they take.

And now we’re beginning that slow turn toward fall.
Summer isn’t over. There’s still warmth to chase growth to notice and life continuing here. But you can feel the edges starting to change.

Soon comes the shedding, decay and dying back. Then wintering. The waiting and quiet before something begins growing again.

Life, death, life.
Whether its the beginning or the ending some of the deepest work we do happens inside that circle 🌀

Primal Roar.

Today we have a new moon solar eclipse in Leo and
A LOT of Leo energy in the cosmos.

Sun. Moon. Mercury. Jupiter. South Node.

A whole lot of fire 🔥

This is a day for harnessing that fire but with caution.
This is NOT a day for manifesting or making big declarations about what comes next. this is a time to slow down and take stock.

We just shifted into a new nodal cycle, closing out an approximately 18-month chapter. so before deciding what the next one is supposed to look like, maybe dive in and really look at what the last one did to you.

Go back through your camera roll, notes, pins, saves etc..

Where were you 18 months ago? What were you worried about? What were you trying to make work? What were you grieving? What did you think you wanted?

And what has changed?

Maybe you recognize your patterns faster now. Maybe you trust yourself sooner. Maybe something that once took six months to move through takes six weeks. Maybe you’re finally recognizing what has reached completion.

What is happening for you along/inside all of that reflection?

The Sun speaks to vitality and self. Jupiter to expansion, abundance and possibility. Mercury to our thoughts, words and communication. South Node showing us what needs to be released be it endings or old patterns.

All this fiery Leo and there can be a lot of excitement, creativity, confidence and momentum. Maybe a little ego, arrogance or razzle-dazzle too. The caution is in how we use these for our growth.

A time of noticing…
What keeps coming into your mind?
What are you talking about?
What are you suddenly excited about?
Where are you beginning to imagine more for yourself?

There is momentum here. But momentum doesn’t always mean GO.

This is an eclipse. We don’t have full visibility yet

So instead of planting the seeds today, sit with them in your hands for a little while.

Do I even want what I wanted 18 months ago?
What feels complete?
What feels possible now because of everything I finally put down?

Let the fire illuminate you before you ask it to move you.

Tarot has been one of the single most important tools in my own human-ness journey through all the hard, beautiful, heartbreaking and life-changing experiences that come with being alive.

More than any other practice, it has helped me deepen my relationship with myself. It has strengthened my intuition, invited me into shadow work, helped me navigate big decisions, and recognize patterns and themes unfolding in both my own life and the world around me.

For me, tarot isn’t simply a divinatory tool. It’s a language of story, symbolism and self-reflection. When approached with curiosity, honesty and discernment, it becomes a way of sitting with yourself, your own inner knowing, and whatever wisdom you’re ready to uncover.

If you’ve ever joined one of our tarot gatherings or found yourself chatting with me about the cards in the shop, you probably already know how deeply I love this practice.

So it feels only fitting that one of our very first offerings in our new cozy space is a tarot workshop.

I’ve poured so much heart into creating this, and I’m incredibly excited to begin offering readings and deeper educational experiences like this as we move into late summer and fall.

Beginning Tuesday, September 8, we’ll gather in an intimate group of just 8 participants, meeting every other Tuesday from 6–8 PM over six weeks. Together we’ll build a strong foundation in tarot while exploring the archetypes, symbolism, intuition and personal reflection that make this practice so transformative.

These last few months it’s really hit me how much the nurturers need nurturing too. Bonus when we not just pour into ourselves but someone/thing/place pours into us too.

The ones who hold space need places to rest.
The givers need moments of receiving.
The caretakers, the helpers, the big feelers… they deserve to be tended with the same care they so freely offer others.

Serpentine, sometimes called Healerite, has long been associated with restoration, energetic renewal, and gentle support. I have found myself reaching for it many times over the last few months realizing when I’ve been pouring outward more than I’ve been pouring back into myself.

A quiet reminder that reciprocity isn’t just something we offer others. It’s something we practice with ourselves, too.

We have a large amount of Serpentine and other thoughtfully chosen stones in the shop, stop in and see what speaks to you.

The New Moon in Cancer arrived early this morning, and if you’ve been here for a while, you know I love looking at astrology as a tool. Not because the stars tell us who we are or what will happen, but because they offer another lens through which we can better understand ourselves and the seasons we’re moving through.

Cancer is a water sign ruled by the Moon. It reminds us to tend to home. Not just the place we live, but the people, spaces, and practices that help us feel safe, rooted, and nourished. It speaks to our emotions, intuition, nervous system, ancestry, and the ways we give and receive care.

This New Moon asks us to slow down and come home to ourselves.

At 21°, the invitation isn’t to gather more information. It’s to embody what you’ve already learned. Maybe you’re trusting yourself more. Maybe you’re choosing peace over proving something.

With Mercury retrograde also in Cancer, old memories or emotions may resurface. Rather than seeing them as setbacks, I see them as invitations to notice what still needs tending.

A few journal prompts we are working with:

One of the greatest gifts astrology has given me isn’t certainty. It’s perspective. It reminds me that life moves in seasons. There are times to bloom and times to root. Times to release and times to receive. We don’t have to force every season to look the same.

May this New Moon remind you that some of the most meaningful growth happens beneath the surface, long before anyone else can see it.

Today I get to introduce you to one of my dearest friends, a soul I love and trust deeply and our very first in house practitioner.

One of my greatest hopes for Forest, Stone & Sea has always been to create a place where people can gather, learn, connect, discover new ways to support their well-being, and find thoughtfully curated tools and goods that support them along the way.

That’s why I’m so excited to welcome Shannon of Let’s Be Holistic Shannon Mesneak HHP/Clinical Herbalist to our family

From the moment we started dreaming together, I knew our hearts and visions aligned. We’re both lifelong seekers who believe true wellness honors our spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical selves. That shared vision is what makes this partnership feel so natural.

If you’ve never met Shannon, I can’t wait for you to.

She’s a Clinical Herbalist, Holistic Nutritionist, Health Coach, and Holistic Health Practitioner (H.H.P.) with a passion for helping people understand the incredible wisdom of the human body. Her approach isn’t simply about recommending herbs for symptoms. She believes education is one of the most powerful tools for better health because understanding why your body responds the way it does changes everything. Herbs, nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle all become tools that can support your unique body when you understand how they work together.

Together, we’ll be offering collaborative classes and workshops, while Shannon will also be leading educational workshops, one-on-one consultations, and other holistic wellness offerings of her own. You’ll also find a thoughtfully curated selection of Shannon’s handcrafted herbal tea blends and favorite herbs in the shop, with even more available through Let’s Be Holistic for local pickup.
We’re both so grateful to welcome this next chapter with you and can’t wait to continue building a community rooted in knowledge, nourishment, nature, and genuine connection.

During this pause one of the things we did for ourselves was put a cast iron tub outside. Our home was built in 1925 and originally my great grandmothers and when she got older the bathroom was remodeled and the tub removed. For the 13 ish years we’ve lived here I’ve longed for a tub and long hot baths. Now I have one and I wonder what she’d think about that as I lay in the bath under the apple tree she planted.

So as I relax in the tub tonight and reflect on the glimmers I want to share my sincere gratitude and appreciation for all of the kind words, shares, comments and love you all gave us on our upcoming return. We are so very excited to see you all and welcome you into this new chapter and space.

Friends! After taking a pause to intentionally slow down, we’re finally ready to welcome you back. We’ve missed you!

There’s much we want to share but most importantly gratitude for allowing us these last few weeks to honor and tend to my grief, burnout, and heaviness. It has been the deep medicine and space needed to untangle and sit with many emotions and truly care for myself as a priority.

For the first time in a very long time, I gave myself permission to stop pushing through and instead listen to what my heart, my body, and my spirit were asking ofme and I’m so grateful I did and for the support received during this time.

And also during this time, something really beautiful began to take shape 💗

We’ve been quietly creating a brand new home for Forest, Stone & Sea.

Not just a new location, but a space that is calm and more aligned with who we are, who we are becoming and how we want to serve you beautiful souls. It’s been a labor of love in the most intentional, pure way, and I truly can’t wait to share it with you.

Our hope is simple. That when you walk through the doors, you feel like you can exhale. That you find a space to slow down, find support, reconnect, and simply be.

We’re so dang excited to finally invite you in and share it with y’all!

Solstice weekend blessings to you friends!
The Summer Solstice is a time to honor the longest day of the year and the abundance of the season.

Long before cell phone calendars filled our days and electric lights stretched our evenings, people paid attention to these turning points. They watched the sun, noticed the plants, and marked the seasons.

Whether you call it Solstice, Litha, Midsummer, or simply another Saturday, take a moment of stillness to soak up the sun and feel the warmth on your skin and notice the life around you today.

These seasonal observances are part of most of our lineage that’s largely been forgotten so it’s a great time for us to slow down, connect with earth and our ancestors . These traditions weren’t separate from their daily lives. They were daily life. They helped people connect to the land, the seasons, and their place within the larger cycle of things.

The longest day of the year offered a moment to pause. To celebrate what had grown. To give thanks for the light. To reflect on what was flourishing. And to consider what needed to be released or tended before the wheel turned again.

For me, this season is always an invitation to seek the sun. Literally and figuratively. To spend more time outside, let my inner child come out and play. To sit bare in rivers and release it all letting the water carry it away. To find joy in the St. John’s Wort beginning to bloom, the yarrow reaching skyward, and the wildflowers appearing exactly when they’re meant to.

There is something so damn human about standing in the fullness of the light while knowing the days will slowly begin to shorten again. A reminder that everything moves in cycles.
Light. Dark. Light.
Life. Death. Life.

Nature is always showing us how to become and be.

So wherever you are this Solstice weekend, I invite you to take a moment. Step outside. Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin and notice the vibrancy around you.

The light is at its fullest.
There’s still possibility, wonder and hope.

And there’s still time for whatever you want to grow or plant this season ☀️🌱
