The Brad Ramey Junior Tournament is open to kids ages 7-18, and it’s completely FREE to enter! There will be prizes and games, so it’s a great chance for kids of all skill levels to get out on the course, meet other young golfers, and have a blast.

🚧 Winter Conditioning Project #3: rebuilding the pump system 🚧

Here's something most golfers never think about: almost all our ponds are connected. When the rain comes, our pumps actively push that water out to the back nine and into the slough along the border. When those pumps struggle, the whole system backs up -- and that's when you get the flooding you've seen out here.

So maintenance went digging... literally. Turns out our original pumps were underperforming, and some were straight up clogged with grass and weeds from years of mowing around them. What you're seeing is the crew clearing those pumps out and uncovering buried parts that hadn't seen daylight in a while.

The big one: we're rebuilding the main pump on #14 pond -- one of the worst culprits. That rebuild alone should be a serious upgrade to how fast we can move water off the course when it's really coming down.

Add it to the drainage lines and the aeration, and here's the picture: water that used to sit and flood now has a system built to move it out.

We won't promise perfection -- Mother Nature still gets a vote out here. But these projects should improve winter playability considerably, and they're the strong first step toward making these systems even better in the years ahead.
