2024 Ancient Peaks Chardonnay

This bottle comes from Ancient Peaks’ estate Margarita Vineyard, the only vineyard in the Santa Margarita Ranch AVA and the southernmost site in Paso Robles. Mountain peaks funnel in coastal air, giving the w**e both freshness and depth. It opens with pear, citrus zest, tropical melon, and a hint of butterscotch. The palate is lush and lively with honeydew, peach, lime, and a thread of minerality, then finishes satiny with poached pear spice and vanilla.

Cool marine air, granitic soils, and just enough richness to make this Paso Chardonnay hard to put down. It is generous without feeling heavy, and built for the table.
