"Many people want to have beautiful first dances on their wedding day, but the pricing for lessons can be steep for the average person. There are also loads of college students who want to learn ballroom dancing, but there isn’t quite a large pool of wealth there, either. So, what are we all to do? Enter Lorena Bravo.

'The seed for The Wedding Dance Channel started years ago… I was just seeing how normal prices were rising and rising… and I realized that dancing was becoming something that the average person couldn’t afford to do.'

With so much teaching and dance experience under her belt, she’s well equipped to teach regardless of the barriers to learning...She’s even finding ways to teach with a massive barrier like a worldwide pandemic in the way."

It’s College Week with Haruko 4 You! 🎉

Haruko, Katelyn’s great-grandmother, was only 18 years old when she started her own business.

Running a restaurant all by herself, Haruko built an astounding legacy that her family still praises and upholds. In fact, Katt's middle name is Haruko - something Katt sees as a great honor.

Inspired by the strong women in her life, Katt started a business that pays homage to her great-grandmother. She channels her passion for making things into entrepreneurship where she celebrates fashion as self-expression through curated vintage clothing and her handmade jewelry pieces.

Being a college student and managing the demands of student life never stopped Katt from pursuing entrepreneurship. Like the amazing woman she was named after, Katt’s Haruko 4 You takes after and continues a strong family legacy.

Happy Wellness Week with Indigo Reiki 🎉

When Donna Schechter moved to California over 30 years ago, she was pursuing a career in the film industry...

Twists and turns in her journey found her on a table, crying cleansing tears as a Reiki master brushed his hands over her.

“Everything is curated from my vision. From start to finish I am touching every aspect of the product.”

Lavena Lewis has been on a journey to get where she is today. She started sewing when her mom gave her a sewing machine to make her own outfits for sports. Since then, sewing has been a passion of hers.

During a stint of being homeless, Lavena enrolled in a 6-week business plan class. She was able to win a Shark Tank like contest in her business class which helped her to launch VenaVena Handcrafted.
