It’s so easy to judge, sometimes we do it without even realizing that we do. There is so much behind and about others that we don’t even know about. People go through things behind walls we never see. What you say about others whether to them or behind them all points back to the matters of your own heart. Always pause to choose empathy rather than judgement cause you never know what’s behind that person’s story. Empathy is so important especially in our world today where it seems like tearing people down becomes so accessible and easy. We need empathy more than ever today.

The process of growing is not a walk in the park. It takes us into unfamiliar places, makes us face things we’ve been running away from, it’s being in the uncomfortable. The process of growth is not easy but it’s needed for us to grow into all that is for us! Your growth is equipping you for where you are going and needed. Bringing others down doesn’t lift you up. Everyone has insecurities, so don’t be that person that builds others insecurities even more! Words have power so use it wisely. Build others up because at the end of the day what you do for others and make them feel is what matters most.

Waiting is never easy but sometimes it’s necessary. What you do in the waiting and your attitude in the waiting is just as important as what your waiting for. There is a season for everything and the waiting season is always the hardest but know that the wait is never wasted! In the wait you’re getting stronger, you’re still growing and building in the wait.

When it gets overwhelming remember to just put one foot in front of the other, the small steps are just as important as the big ones. 🤍

The world has taught us speed is everything, that instant is always better. What we forget is sometimes we can get caught up in the speed, the what’s next, the chasing of the future. In the middle of chasing the future we forget that there needs to be a pause to appreciate the now. Satisfaction is not in the future but in the now, so take a pause. We’re not meant to just hustle but have a balance of hustle and pause! We can’t run with our fullest potential if we don’t take time to refuel. Take a pause sometime today and appreciate where you’re at cause there is always something to be thankful for! 🧡 HAPPY MONDAY!

What you do affects others more than you think. I’ve always battle with my own thoughts that I’m not important enough to create or influence any sort of change but then I realize it’s not about me but the cause. The focus is not on me but being able to shine any amount of light to the cause. It’s a ripple effect that cause change to happen, it’s the bigger cause and the bigger picture.

With the recent uprise of what has been happening to my asian community, it breaks my heart. It breaks my heart that there is so much hate thrown in many undeserving faces. It breaks my heart even more that it’s done to elderly asians who have done nothing to deserve it at all. All they have ever done was done out of love, sacrifice and care for the next generation, for them to live a better life. They wanted to cause a ripple effect of better and brighter but alas it’s come to this. Don’t let the sacrifices of others die in vain, it doesn’t need to come to this but it has and we need to wake up. Do our part to continue this ripple. It’s a ripple effect, don’t be the cause of the stop of the ripple to create and cause a change. It’s not the time to stand down but stand up!

It’s okay to feel like you don’t know anything, it’s okay to not be the best, it’s okay to start over. Sometimes we get so scared to try new things or start over because we’re scared of what others will think or say. But give yourself the permission and grace to be a beginner. Don’t let the fear of the new, the unknown and the voices of others stop you from what is in your heart.
