You probably don't get the sleep you need to feel super rested each day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What if we told you that it's not necessarily how much sleep you get, but rather, the quality of sleep that matters?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Before you turn to supplements like melatonin, try the 3-2-1 method. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3 - digesting food takes energy, which means your body isn't fully shutting down. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2 - Focusing on work too close to bed means your brain doesn't have the chance to wind down, leaving you with racing thoughts rather than falling into dreamland⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 - Blue light inhibits melatonin production and increases cortisol levels, both make it hard to get quality sleep. Our screens are the worst emitters of blue light so shut them down. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

INSTEAD, try this: eat earlier to give yourself time to digest your food, shut your work brain off along with the screens and spend the last two hours before bed journaling, writing down the things you need to accomplish tomorrow, then read something entertaining to help release the stress from the day.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
