The "Black Community" is always a topic of discussion but the reality is, we never been a universal Black community with 1 common goal. I think we are starting to realize it a bit more bc of social media but it might be time to accept that the fantasy of a unified Black community will remain fragmented.

This is a "We love That's So Raven" audience but also a "I'm going to hold your hand when I say this" crowd

The delineation movement continues to prove how FBA desire proximity to whiteness thru the proxy of pretending to be pro black. Many aren't pro black at all, many weaponize their "I'm Black American, not African American" sentiments for xenophobia but not for actual community building, history preservation or uplifting actual historical figures who paved the way for us to have rights.

When they scream passionately "I'm American" they often say "my ancestors fought for this land and built this country" but they leave out that our ancestors had to BEG, REVOLT, UNALIVE & DEMAND our freedom from people who decided Black African people were not human. They use patriotism to showcase their sentiments towards America, yet, is America fighting for the survival and preservation of Black folks?

Being proud to be American but not African descent truly baffles me. African enslaved people in America were surviving and the culture they built was resistance. However, I am glad many are starting to admit that they have more in common with white folks than they do with others in the African diaspora.

I consider myself in the 4 category of Black Hair.
This isn't really an ad fr, it's moreso me waiting til my 30s to discover this lol

I will say, you need Blow Out Accelerator spray and Hairspray to keep the hold if you don't want to flat iron it after. I can get my hair like this in 30 to 40min so the less time and less tools, I love.

This is Texas roadhouse! Apparently a Facebook group of 400k members of Texas Roadhouse and Logans employees have been exposed for admitting to tampering with Black customers food. Spitting, licking, etc everything you can possibly imagine.

Texas Roadhouse has made a statement: "At Texas Roadhouse we are committed to creating an environment where every guest js treated with respect and unreasonable hospitality".
