Today…

Mommy and Daddy took me to a beautiful pond in Jonathanland. ✨

The sun was sparkling on the water.

As I quietly watched…

something moved beneath the surface. 👀

A little fish! 🐠

Then another one.

And another!

I pointed at them.

They swam this way.

Then that way.

They looked like they were having so much fun.

So I tried to follow them with my tiny finger.

But then…

they suddenly disappeared!

They had hidden beneath the water.

I looked all around.

Then I turned to Daddy and happily babbled,

“Ba… da… ba…?” 👶

Daddy smiled.

Then he said,

“Are you looking for them? I think they’re playing hide-and-seek with you.” 🐠

So I sat down beside the pond.

And waited.

Very…

very patiently.

Without taking my eyes off the water. 👀

A few seconds later…

one little fish appeared again!

I clapped my hands with a big smile. 👏✨

Daddy laughed.

Maybe today…

I won our game of hide-and-seek! 😄

Today…

I went for a walk in Jonathanland with Mommy, Daddy, and Scoot. ✨

The sun was shining.

The flowers were gently dancing in the breeze.

Then…

a beautiful butterfly landed right beside me. 🦋

I stopped.

I looked at it.

Without moving.

Its tiny wings fluttered softly.

I slowly stepped closer.

Very…

very slowly.

Then I started babbling.

“Ba… da… ba…” 👶

The butterfly gently flew away.

I watched it for as long as I could.

Daddy smiled at me.

Then he said,

“I think it came to say hello to you.” 💙

I raised my hand.

And waved goodbye.

Maybe…

one day,

it will come back to visit me again. 🦋✨

Today…

I went for a walk in Jonathanland with Mommy, Daddy, and Scoot. ✨

The sun was shining.

A gentle breeze was making the flowers dance.

Daddy stopped in front of a funny little white puffball.

He carefully picked it.

Then he handed it to me.

I looked at it for a long time.

It was so light.

So soft.

Daddy smiled at me.

So I took a deep breath…

and blew as hard as I could.

Pfffff! 🌬️

The tiny seeds floated away into the sky.

I watched them drift higher and higher.

Then I pointed at them and happily babbled,

“Ba… ba… da…!” 👶

Daddy looked up at the sky.

Then, with a smile, he said,

“Do you think they’re flying off to visit the other flowers?” 🌼

I clapped my hands with excitement.

And I kept watching them…

until they disappeared into the wind. 💛

Today…

Mom and Dad took me to a big field in Jonathanland ✨

The weather was beautiful.

A gentle breeze was blowing.

Dad brought a big kite.

It was so pretty.

With a long tail dancing in the wind.

Dad started running.

And the kite took off.

Higher.

Higher still.

Even higher.

I looked up at the sky 👀

Then I pointed at the kite.

I turned to Dad.

And I started babbling.

“Ba… Da… Ba…” 👶

Dad smiled.

He looked up at the kite.

Then he looked back at me and said,

“Are you wondering if it’s touching the clouds?” ☁️

I smiled.

And clapped my hands with excitement 👏

Dad laughed.

“Not yet… but it’s getting very close.”

So I kept watching the kite.

And in my little mind…

I was almost sure it was flying up to say hello to the birds before coming back 🐦💙

Today…

it was raining in Jonathanland 🌧️

I thought it looked beautiful.

Raindrops were falling everywhere.

Plip.

Plop.

Plip.

Dad came over with a pair of rain boots.

“These are for you!”

I put them on as fast as I could.

Then I went outside.

And that’s when…

I spotted a puddle 👀

I walked closer.

I looked at my reflection.

Then…

SPLASH! 💦

I jumped right into it.

Then another puddle.

SPLASH!

Then a third one.

SPLASH!

Mom was laughing.

Dad was laughing too.

Scoot was running around, trying not to get splashed 🐶

I stopped for a moment.

I looked at all the puddles.

Then I said:

“I think puddles like hugs!” 💙

So I gave them lots more.

SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH! 😄

Even rainy days in Jonathanland can become wonderful memories ☔✨

Today…

I went for a walk with Mom, Dad, and Scoot ✨

The sun was shining.

A gentle breeze was blowing.

And then…

I found a beautiful seashell 🐚

I picked it up.

I looked at it.

It was so smooth.

With beautiful colors.

Dad said:

“Hold it up to your ear.”

So I did.

And I heard a sound.

A tiny little sound.

Just like the waves 🌊

My eyes opened wide.

“I can hear the sea!” 😮

Dad explained why it makes that sound.

But me…

I’d rather believe that this little seashell loves telling stories about all the places it has traveled.

Maybe one day…

it will tell me a brand-new adventure ✨

I was walking home with Mom and Dad ✨

The sun had already gone down.

And the sky was getting darker.

That’s when I saw it.

The moon 🌙

It was right above me.

I kept walking.

And so did it.

So I looked behind me.

It was still there 👀

I walked a little faster.

The moon did too.

I walked even faster.

And it was still following me 😮

So I stopped.

Completely.

And do you know what?

The moon stopped too.

I looked at Dad.

Then at the moon.

Then at Dad again.

Then at the moon.

And I said:

“I think it wants to be my friend.”

Dad smiled 💛

I smiled too.

So I raised my hand.

And I waved at it 👋🌙

The moon didn’t say anything.

But I’m pretty sure…

it waved back.

Mom and Dad took me to the Jordan Observatory ✨

The sun was starting to set.

The sky turned orange.

Then pink.

Then dark blue 🌅

Dad was looking at the sky.

So was I.

And then I had an idea.

“I’m going to be the first one to see a star!” 😮

So I watched carefully 👀

Very carefully.

Scoot was watching too 🐶

But I think she was mostly looking at the birds.

Then suddenly…

“THERE!”

I pointed at the sky ⭐

“I found one!”

Dad looked.

Mom looked too.

Then they smiled.

“Yes Baby Madison, you were the first.”

I felt very proud 💛

Very, very proud.

A few minutes later…

The sky was full of stars ✨

Hundreds of them.

Maybe even thousands.

But that didn’t matter.

Because the first one…

I was the one who found it 😎⭐

There were lots of people.

Grown-ups.

Kids.

And trains everywhere 🚂

But that’s not what caught my attention.

It was the huge clock.

Very high.

Right at the top.

I looked up.

Higher.

And higher.

It went:

Tick.

Tock.

Tick.

Tock.

I watched it for a long time 👀

A very long time.

Then I looked at Dad.

Then the clock.

Then Dad again.

Then the clock.

And I asked:

“Why does it move so slowly?”

Dad smiled.

He answered:

“Because it’s counting time.”

I didn’t really understand.

So I kept watching it.

And for a moment…

I felt like the whole station was listening to the same sound as me ✨
