Made this sweater for my lil one recently. Haven’t been able to spend too much time near a sewing machine (severe lower back issues which I hope will get resolved today).

Happy holidays from my family to yours. Thank you all for this wonderful year. Closing out the year with sales in 40 states and over 350 sales. I’m so grateful for you all. The year ended on a rough note on a personal level. But thank you so much to each of you for your kindness and generosity. My heart is so full!

Mommys Into Stitchin was in desperate need of a facelift. So here we are. Huge thank you to for my new logo.

It’s been tough to recover from the unexpected expense of a broken sewing machine. But I’m hoping the upcoming holiday sale (starting Friday November 26) will help bring me back into the green.

By this time a year ago I was teaching myself how to sew hand warmers. And in a month’s time will be my one year. 🥰

I wanted to wait for my year anniversary, but… to quote Lin Manuel Miranda

“I'm past patiently waitin. I'm passionately smashin every expectation. Every action is an act of creation. I'm laughin' in the face of casualties and sorrow. For the first time, I'm thinkin' past tomorrow”

Went early to pick up my lottery tickets for the Sunday matinee. The seats I won were so amazing. It was mind blowing. It was an immersive experience I don’t think I’ll ever forget.

If you’re wondering why I am obsessed with Hamilton. I can gladly explain if you’re willing to read 😅

First and foremost the play is creative and beautiful in ways many can appreciate.

On a more personal note let’s go back to 2020. In June 2020, I made the decision to write a book of poetry. Hamilton came out on Disney+ July 4th and it just inspired me to write. That month I was able to self publish a digital copy of my poetry and hit my sales goal in 2 weeks (thanks friends and family 🥰)

I watched and listened to it everyday for the rest of 2020 and well into 2021. 1) my daughter loved watching it and requested it daily 2) I loved watching it and was glad when she’s ask to watch it 😂.

This movie inspired me to go for my business. This movie sparked which then sparked .

My love for Hamilton is deep rooted even if I didn’t know about how big of a hit it was prior to Disney+ release (why do people feel the need to say “well I loved it before” -as if it makes their love more valid *insert eye roll here*)

Yes. Im grateful. Yes. I’m obsessed. Yes. I’m a . Yes. I’m inspired yet again 💓

Can I just say how proud I am to see so many women promoting fellow women business in their posts & stories? I’m grateful to run in your circles. It’s one thing to post about your products but to see y’all consistently clapping for other businesses brings me joy. To have people tell me “I actually bought from them after seeing your post” really warms my heart.
