You can now find Hello Earth Club in Redlands and we couldn’t be more excited! Find us at the Frugal Frigate, an independent children’s bookstore located in Historic Downtown Redlands, California. The Frugal Frigate has been a part of the community for over 30 years, established in 1988. How cool is that?!

Pop on by and support the ecosystem of small businesses in this awesome little shop, and keep our downtowns thriving by visiting and supporting.

Biking.
A solution to pollution.

Biking is good for our physical and mental health. It makes our cities and towns safer, more connected, and fun. Best of all, it helps the environment and our communities.

Not to mention, biking is a core memory for kids (and adults), and the more of us who do it, the cooler our neighborhoods will be.

May is bike month, and Earth Club is here for it. Here is an easy checklist to help you plan a neighborhood ride to school, work, or whatever destination comes to mind!

Behind the Scenes... What does going green have to do with screens?

At Earth Club, our goal is to encourage the next generation to engage with the community, understand environmentalism, and to activate in any way possible, no matter the age or circumstance. This typically starts with connection, and with kids, a perfect place to learn this is at home and in school.

Challenging school tech policy was not on the Earth Club bingo card, but here we are. Families are ringing the alarm and saying enough with the overuse of tech in class. What is the intention and why is it taking so much of our dwindling budget? We understand it’s the future, but it is changing by the day, and our children seem to be the guinea pigs.

We believe all children deserve to be educated and inspired by humans. They should experience friendships, learn lessons, and enjoy curiosity. They should not be exposed to tech addiction, possible data breaches, and the unimaginable access they may have to the wild, wild west of the World Wide Web.

Also, what’s the end of life plan for ALL the devices? 😒

This little gem of a gift shop and art gallery is the perfect home for our story, in the cutest little neighborhood in North East Los Angeles, Eagle Rock.

Hosting community clean ups is our jam! The smiles, the vibes, the sense of pride you feel when you walk up and down tidy streets is so gratifying.

You can also do this on your own. Head on a power walk with a picker and a bag and pick up litter as you go. You won’t believe how many smiles and thank you’s will come your way. Even better, you usually connect with neighbors, which is always the Earth Club goal!

Repair Fairs are our jam! Not only do you bring the community together, but you repair instead of toss, you repurpose vs forget, and you can reconnect with a piece that may be sitting around the house waiting for a little fix. These fair are volunteered based, hosted by the community for the community, and depends on the kindness of everyone’s talent. Such a good vibes! This local repair fair also had an author AND a clothing swap! Perfection!!
