Hormones— am I right? I’m 5 months postpartum and I’ve finally hit the threshold where my stores are running low. I’m doing what I can to stay hydrated, keep my hair, boost my milk production, and have positive energy to be present as the primary caretaker. We love to love Caytons!

Hidden right in the heart of Santa Monica, Caytons is great for children ages 6+ months - ~ 10 years or so!

Right now until the middle of November, it is free for all LA county residents made possible by sponsors in the community!

tips:
⏱ go right when they open at 10 am
💧only water is allowed inside,
So plan snacks and meals accordingly!
👟 wear shoes that come in and off quickly as some exhibits are shoe free
🎨 don’t forget to check out the art studio. Create and take something special home with you

Shaking’ our shakers to get over hump day! Happy Wednesday friends! If you’re in the Culver City area, stop by the weekly dance party at the Culver Steps every Wednesday @ 11 am!

Take the stairs or the elevator by Mendocino farms.

TIPS:
- bring your own blanket and wipes to wipe down the instruments if you have a chewer!
- pack your lunch and eat on grass below or stop by the many spots in the area! We love Grand Casino Bakery + Cafe for empanadas, Pop’s Bagels for (you guessed it) everything bagel with cream cheese, and Make Out for a refreshing smoothie!
- Come around 5 minutes early to get a good spot!

Still feeling the heatwave?

Here is what we did during the week:
• Ballona Creek Sports Park + Playground
• Playa Del Rey Lagoon Park
• Mothers Beach
• Swimming with friends at the pool
• At home splash pad
• Caytons Children Museum

Beat the heat: head to the beach!

MOTHERS BEACH TIPS
🚘 huge pay to park lot along the edge of the park
🚲 easy bike access that leads to the ballon’s creek path and Marvin Braude Bike Trail
🍔 if you forget your lunch, there are many places in walking distance, The Hive, Brizo, and The Cheesecake Factory are a few in walking distance!
☀️come early to avoid crowds
🐟 there is lots of wildlife in the water, including rays and leopard sharks so be sure to do the stingray shuffle when wading and swimming !
