Can you spot the Off White logo in some of these?

Throughout his often collaborations in the music world, Virgils design talents also came useful for designing album covers and art. Often it was tied to merchandise and made in collaboration with multiple artists like for Kanye Wests albums and Virgils main

Virgil often referenced classical art or pop culture and sometimes you can even find Off White in these covers like in Luv is Rage 2 by Lil U*i Vert.

Commentary on our climents fragility 👇

These are real pieces painstakingly assembled with tweezers, glue and, yes, bee wings by

All the wings are sourced ethically from bees that died during harsh winters and were donated to the artist by local institutions and beekeepers.

These are incredibly fragile and, just like environment, one break in the chain can destroy the entire system. By using wings of bees that are dying due to changing environments in this way, the artist is commenting on how interwoven we are with this fragile system ourselves are not taking care of

DIY project to cope with reality 👇

‘Sweetheart grips’ became especially popular among American soldiers during World War II and later during the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Soldiers would customize clear pistol grips by placing photographs of girlfriends, wives, pin ups, flowers, flags, or handwritten notes underneath them.

This type of customization is seen throughout war history where people personalize military equipment to hold onto identity, intimacy, and memory inside systems built around uniformity.

Underground tattoo style that influences custom fashion

Cybersigilism is a modern, Y2K-inspired artistic and tattoo aesthetic that merges traditional, magical sigils with futuristic, cyberpunk geometry, characterized by intricate, fine-lined, greyscale, and spiky patterns.

It exploded in the underground Berlin 90s rave scene and since has evolved to various mediums, like fabric.

Artists who draw like this on clothes mostly likely also tattoo and therefore it’s usually done with a needle-tip bottle and fabric paint, mimicking the tattooing technique on new material.

The fits are supposed to be bad 👇

During the Cold war Soviet state media often focused on the decadence’ of the West, showing how Western people dress unserious and childish, and a lot of posters focused on making fun of hippies and other subcultures with exaggerated caricatures.

However, in modern context these look fire and what people wear today.

Крокодил (crocodile) was a popular publication that had a real love for drawing these posters that, in their mind, looked like awful consumerism that no respectable Soviet would want to emulate.

Ironically, these types of subcultures were also becoming super popular in USSR with same anti-authoritarian messages like their Western counterparts, the style eventually outliving everybody who worked on these.

Is there such a thing as too much love?

This photo series shows kids plushie toys that were loved for years or decades, next to their brand new doppelgangers, showing how love, over time, shapes and changes things by Katja Kemntiz.

The used ones seem to have much more soul to them, Katja was inspired when her daughter refused a brand new teddy and wanted to keep playing with one she had for years, even though it was barely hanging on.

This physical effect of love on things is the same reason worn out clothes are so popular and why faded and vintage aesthetic is so in now, these details show that you loved something to the point of changing it over time, as somebody once said: to be loved is to be changed
