Submariner reference ‘16800’ with an excellent thick case with visible chamfers and tight bracelet. Tritium hands, dial, and bezel pip. Both the dial and hands have aged uniformly to a creamy yellow patina, with some darker patina towards the center post of the hands. The dial, formerly glossy, has transformed completely matte and lost its sheen. The pip has aged a darker amber, and the bezel has some visible clear residue by the 50 mark, as well as a small rash on the teeth by 20. Small nick on the crown. The watch comes with its original papers with 16800 sticker (please note; paper has been 3-hole punched, presumably previously preserved in a folder) and box. This one shows some modest wear for a 40+ year old watch, overall fantastic vintage condition - a special piece to add to the collection.
