🔥 Our last Repair Fair was so successful that we’re planning the next one, and we’re looking for more Fixers, Stitchers & Tinkerers to join the team!

Making used or broken items usable again keeps them out of the landfill, saves money, reduces our carbon footprint and contributes to a circular economy. Equally importantly, it promotes community when people come together to help neighbors save items they care about. 🥰

Our next scheduled event will be on Sunday, September 13th 2026, 10am-1pm (set up at 9am). If you can’t make this one, sign up anyway and we’ll keep you in the loop for the next one !

🥵

Stay safe, check on elderly neighbors, keep pets indoors during the day and watch people and pets for signs of heatstroke! Make use of our public libraries if you don’t have AC.

Dogs do not know their own limitations and will go along on walks even when it’s too hot, burning their paws and getting heatstroke. Dogs with darker fur, flatter faces or those who are older are at greater risk of heatstroke, and drinking water will not prevent it, contrary to popular belief. Heatstroke is often fatal to dogs, even if you call them off, so make sure to get them checked right away and it’s safer to take them in than to try cooling them off yourself.
