I wanted to everyone know that we received the updated death certificate. It was determined that Elizabeth had meningoencephalitis caused by bacteria. Meningoencephalitis is a neurological condition resembling both meningitis (inflammation of the tissue that covers the brain and spinal cord), and encephalitis, (inflammation of the brain tissue itself). I have to do more reading about it, but it also appears that she also had a cerebral edema caused by increased intracellular fluid in the brain. The combination of these things and maybe even other factors are what caused her death. Please feel free to share this with others who may not be on social media.

Elizabeth, our sweet daughter, my soulmate, our joy, inspiration, and happiness; you have gone to a better place. We are devastated and our hearts are shattered. Your laughter, kind heart and soul, gave us so much joy and made our worlds so much brighter. You made us both better people and we experienced so much more than we ever could have, because of you. You are loved more than words could ever express. While we know you are happy and free from this life, we would give anything to have you back. We will miss you every single day for the rest of our lives. 🌹❤️💔💔💔
