(Christmas) Tree Hugger alert! 🎄🎄🎄

Did you know that most wrapping paper can not be recycled? Think about that on Christmas morning after the kiddos have ripped their way under the tree. 🎁 Anything with glitter and even tissue paper (since it’s already been recycled) goes straight to our landfill.

Do one for the planet 🌎 (and your wallet 💵 ) by using items you most likely already have around the house to wrap presents. Reuse boxes, brown paper bags (flashback to middle school book covers, haha), holiday bags you’ve received previously and my absolute FAV find...the paper filler used in an Amazon package I scored from a friend. The paper is even pre-scored for easy separation (genius!).

Another eco-friendly idea? Ditch the tape (or at least reduce the amount used) and try your hand at using ribbon to secure boxes and wrapping paper (although I admittedly need to work on wrapping with only ribbon- there’s gotta be some origami way I can figure it out! 🤔). Any other eco-friendly wrapping ideas out there? @ Huntington Beach, California
