Visit The Library Store for fun & eclectic merchandise in Downtown L.A.'s Central Library! on Monday & Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

The Library Store is open for in-person shopping from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday & Thursday, and 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m on Friday and Saturday. We are closed on Sunday, but our online store is open 24/7! Visit us at shop.lfla.org.

Take home a piece of Central Library with our Luceros y Penumbras Raven Enamel Pin!

Based on the raven carrying the torch of the Light of Learning, which sits atop the LA Central Library and is also depicted in Luceros y Penumbras: The World’s Largest Pop-Up Book. (on view until January 17, 2027)

From the installation: To the Lowland Maya people, Raven was one of the four animals to bring corn to humanity. In the stories of the Inuit and Lingít people of the Pacific Northwest, the raven tricked the keeper of the sun in order to bring light to the world. That is why the raven depicted here carries a torch in its beak.

Celebrate the Centennial with our latest collaboration by Gajin Fujita x LAPL!

Created by internationally acclaimed artist Gajin Fujita to commemorate Central 100, this artwork blends Japanese mythology with the vibrant energy of Los Angeles graffiti culture.

Kintaro, the legendary “Golden Boy” celebrated for bravery, stands before two golden orbs as a platinum “100” bursts like fireworks, evoking Central Library’s enduring “Light of Learning.” Carrying rope-bound books from Fujita’s childhood memories, Kintaro raises a bat inspired by Freddie Freeman’s 2024 World Series walk-off grand slam celebration. Rendered in bold LA graffiti style, “LAPL” celebrates the Library as open to all and rooted in the city’s culture, artistic innovation, and love of storytelling.
