Rice Bag Totes restocking on the website this Thursday 5/28 at 12p PST.
Each tote bag is made from a real rice bag: washed, measured, & lined with salvaged fabric for extra reinforcement.
I am a one woman production line when it comes to sewing, so I definitely feel seen when yall appreciate my craft. One tote bag takes about 3 to 4 hours to make. I wash it, dry it, measure it, cut it, measure & cut the lining from second-hand materials (that has been washed & dried), sew the bag straps, then put all the pieces together.
My source of rice bags have mostly been collected from family, friends + neighbors through my recycling program. Currently full up on bags, so I'll be sewing for the rest of the year to clear out space in my garage.
Brands are on heavy rotation, but if you want to request a specific one, shoot me a DM & we can make something happen.
