Los Angeles Violin Shop The Los Angeles Violin Shop was established with the purpose to deliver quality instruments to passionate musicians.

The owners, Owen Lee and Daniel Oh,started their passion for string instruments in 2002, working with numerous retailers throughout the country as a reliable source of string instruments. Over the years, one of the constant hurdles in meeting customer expectationswas the inability to improve on the finished instruments manufactured by third parties. As a result, the passion of pursuing the best violin led them to Amos Hargrave, an acclaimed violin maker and the recipient of the “Hors Concour” distinction by the Violin Society of America. After their apprenticeship, Owen and Daniel established the Los Angeles Violin Shop to extend their passion and service the community of all types of musicians.

A PSA from our friends at Improvicelli:

Improvicelli is a uniqe concert where string professionals, particularly cellists perform varieties of music genres but most importantly they create an engaging as well as interactive audience experience through various improv games which everyone can participate in. The mission of IMPROVICELLI is to educate, innovate and elevate live music for all audiences.

Prior to the concert there will be a one hour string improv workshop in which students can lesrn basic improv and experience what its like to do music jams with some of Improvicelli’s musicians. For more info, visit:
