The Black-Eared Tang is an active, striking surgeonfish best suited to a large, mature saltwater aquarium of at least 180 gallons, with substantial swimming room and plenty of rock for grazing and shelter. Maintain excellent water quality and strong circulation and oxygenation. It is primarily herbivorous, so its diet should center on marine algae, nori, spirulina-based foods, and quality herbivore preparations, supplemented with occasional meaty foods for variety. Offer food frequently to support its active metabolism and help prevent nutritional deficiencies.

The Exquisite Wrasse is a colorful, active reef fish that does best in a mature saltwater aquarium of 75 gallons or larger with plenty of open swimming space, rock, and hiding places. It is generally peaceful and reef-safe, making it a good community fish, although males can be territorial toward other fairy wrasses with similar coloration. Provide a tight-fitting lid, as wrasses are excellent jumpers. Feed a varied diet of marine meaty foods, frozen preparations, enriched brine or mysis shrimp, and quality pellets several times a day.

The Undulated Triggerfish is a bold, highly territorial marine predator best suited to an experienced aquarist with a very large aquarium, ideally 180 gallons or more. It needs plenty of swimming space, sturdy rockwork, and caves where it can establish a territory. This species is not reef-safe and will commonly prey on crustaceans, mollusks, and smaller fish while potentially damaging corals and rearranging rockwork.
