We were minding our own business at Collectacon LA 2026 when we spotted a PRISTINE factory-sealed $33,000 1st Edition Jungle Booster Box at a sellers table. While full on drooling over this gem, we immediately hit the seller with– well… a messy pitch. We basically ran a step-by-step tutorial on how to ALMOST wreck a deal. 😭

We found a $28,000 Poncho Rayquaza box in the wild at Collect-A-Con, but there was one big problem: Ponchos are notoriously faked. Counterfeiters have gotten WAY too good, so before dropping house-down-payment money, we had to verify its integrity.
