Stoic and Baby is an online project space which will feature art objects created by artists and designers. The objects are in parallel to each creative's independent art practice, and the creation of both inform each other. The site serves the function to support creatives who have interest in making functional objects or other projects not necessarily related to the work they show in galleries or
in stores. In essence, we feature the "B-Side" collections of every artist. It also serves to fit the niche of younger collectors and savvy consumers of art/design that want to curate their lives according to their taste. The site celebrates underexposed talent, passion, and creative collecting; bringing these two communities together online. Stoic and Baby serves as a cultural producer, championing underexposed talent through various collaborations with other organizations, spaces, and brands. The philosophy is based on collaboration, highlights the excitement of creation by talented makers and builds connections between intelligent consumers and the products they seek to surround their lives. Content on the site will be specific and unique. All objects and videos will only specifically be found on the site, and are unavailable at any other space, gallery or store.
