Thank yall for allowing my company to sponsor this years inaugural WJ Alumni game. It was soo much love and came out better than I could expected. I was blown away with the support and really motivated me to keep grindin! Special shoutout to Peace Of Serenity for helping sponsor and West Jefferson High School Alumni for the opportunity. Also West Jeff Bucs for allowing is to put together a great weekend that represented our school in the degree and standard we should all be very proud about.
To everyone who laced em up for this year’s Alumni Game
It wasn’t about who’s the fastest anymore or who can still get a bucket. It’s was about coming home.
For a few hours, we’re back in the same gym where we learned to compete, where friendships were built, and where memories that still make us smile were created. Most of us haven’t seen each other in years, but basketball has a way of bringing us back together.
We balled, respect one another, laugh, trash talked, and left healthier than we came. More than anything, we enjoyed the moment and the opportunity to share the court again.
Years from now, nobody will remember the final score. They’ll remember that we showed up. And balled out.
