Weāve got to do better at home⦠and I say that with love, not judgment.
Our kids are growing up in a world thatās louder, harsher, and more confusing than ever. And as much as we want to blame the schools, the phones, the friends, the teachers⦠the truth hits a little closer to home.
It starts with us.
The way we speak.
The way we love.
The way we correct.
The way we pray.
Our children are watching everything.
Not just what we teach but what we tolerate.
Not just what we say but how we live.
God entrusted these little lives to us.
Not the internet.
Not the school system.
Not the world.
And if we want to raise respectful, grounded, compassionate kids⦠we have to be willing to lead them with intention, consistency, and faith. Even when weāre tired. Even when weāre overwhelmed. Even when they resist.
We canāt expect the world to teach what we donāt model.
We canāt expect the school to correct what we allow at home.
And we canāt pray for change while refusing to be part of it.
Our homes are the first ministry our children will ever experience.
Their first church.
Their first example of love, grace, boundaries, and accountability.
Lord, help us be parents who donāt just hope our kids grow up rightā¦
but parents who show them the way.
Letās do better not because weāve failed, but because God has trusted us with something so sacred, so irreplaceable, and so worth the effort.
It starts at home. It starts with us. And it starts with Him.
