We're making fresh pandesal for our fried chicken adobo sandwiches! Pandesal translates to salt bread but it's actually sweet and coated in breadcrumbs. It's soft inside but crunchy outside! We would it eat with everything, margarine, cheese whiz, edam cheese, ube and ice cream with coffee!
In the Philippines vendors would travel to nearby neighborhoods and sell their breads. (Seen in the next slide) you'd know they were outside because they had a horn (pot-pot) or they would yell it out. There's nothing like getting a bag of hot pandesal!
