Stationery Store Update

We are painting walls, and shelves, and ceilings. It's a lot of paint. More than we thought. But it's coming along. We are still planning to open at the end of October or beginning of November. But here's a little secret: You (the current subscriber to our emails) will be the second group of people who will know when we open. If you donated to our fundraiser, we have sent out a separate email just to that group. If you are in the group and did not receive an email, please let us know right away and we will add you to the next one. Additionally, if you need your fundraiser reward to be shipped or delivered, let us know details around that as well.

We are doing the work ourselves and a lot depends on how much time we have while also getting ready for the Louisville Book Festival (Saturday, October 24th). Wish us luck and if you see any green paint on us, you'll know where it came from.

We are painting walls, and shelves, and ceilings. It’s a lot of paint. More than we thought. But the stationery store is coming along. We are still planning to open at the end of October or beginning of November.

But here’s a little secret: If you subscribe to our weekly newsletter via our website foxingbooks.com, you will learn about our opening day a week before anyone else and have early access.

If you donated to our fundraiser, we have sent out a separate email just to that group. If you are in the group and did not receive an email, please tell us know right away and we will add you to the next one. Want to thank everyone who donated, showed up, and supported our book giveaway for Dolly Parton day. We gave away close to 200 books! But we still have so MANY book, so be on the lookout for another book giveaway in December.

And a special thanks to J. Andrew Goodman and Ngọc Uyên for inspiring, organizing, and making a huge donation to this event. You all are the absolute best.

THANK YOU!

We want to thank everyone who donated, spread the word, and came out for our first Kids Book Giveaway. We gave away close to 200 books and couldn't ask for a better turnout.

Because of all of the donations, we still have so many books and plan to have another giveaway around the holidays, so look out for our next giveaway in December and spread the word.

Change in Hours

Most of yall have already figured this out, but our hours have changed. Since the bakeshop opens at 8AM, we pretty much do too. While the bakeshop closes at 3PM, you can still visit the bookstore until 6PM. If our open light is on and our street sign is out, we're open, come see us.

We are doing the work ourselves and a lot depends on how much time we have while also getting ready for the Louisville Book Festival (Saturday, October 24th). If you donated to the fundraiser, you should be receiving separate emails with updates about the shop and rewards. If you have not seen this email from us but donated to the fundraiser, please let us know. Additionally, if you need your fundraiser reward to be shipped or delivered, let us know details around that as well.
